Ms. Nina Chufarova, MA (Clinical Psychology)
I am a psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (2023) and additional training in counselling adult survivors of sexual violence. I have experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups across the lifespan. My clinical work includes supporting individuals impacted by addiction, sexual assault and domestic violence, childhood and attachment-related trauma, as well as war- and immigration-related trauma.

I practice from a trauma-informed, person-centred, and culturally responsive framework. I prioritize the development of a safe, collaborative therapeutic relationship that honours each client’s lived experience, identity, and strengths. Treatment is individualized and goal-oriented, with attention to both symptom relief and long-term psychological well-being.

My integrative approach draws from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), trauma-focused and somatic interventions, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic principles. This allows me to address both immediate concerns and underlying emotional and relational patterns.

I offer therapy in English and am fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and Polish, allowing me to work effectively with clients from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
