Ms. Nicole Versluis, MA, CCC

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and almost a decade of providing counseling services. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations in various settings, including hospitals, court, suicide and crisis intervention teams, sexual assault and domestic violence response teams, as well as, in clinical private practice settings.

Currently I provide psychological treatment for first responders, survivors of trauma and violence, victims of crime, individuals suffering through grief and loss, along with, neurodivergent populations and for people who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, ptsd, complex traumas, workplace burnout, compassion fatigue, caregiver fatigue, minority stress, relationships and family conflict. My treatment approaches include cognitive behavioural techniques with an attachment theory and emotion-focused lens. I am passionate about supporting the mental well-being of those who dedicate their lives to serving others. I aim to equip first responders with the tools they need to navigate the demands of their profession, while working through their challenges and maintaining their mental and emotional health.

In addition to trauma therapy and psychological treatment, I provide psychological assessment for ptsd, adhd, and autism. I recognize the unique challenges faced by individuals who are neurodivergent and strive to provide personalized interventions that address their specific needs, whether it be through executive functioning skill building strategies, emotional regulation techniques, or psychoeducation for clients and their families.

I am also approved to treat the following populations: RCMP, MPI Personal Injury Plan and grief/loss claimants, WCB claimants, Veterans Affairs Canada, and Victim Services claimants through Manitoba Justice.
